2011 The Sisters

"This wine is a testament to how pretty Cabernet Sauvignon can be, and how our warmer, northern Napa Valley estate vineyard site played a role in the success of this vintage. Delicate aromas of violet, lavender and pine sap resonate from the glass. On the palate this wine possesses a sleek, mouth-coating quality with incredibly fine tannins framing notes of bramble, black fruit, tea leaf, eucalyptus and tobacco. The cooler growing season gives the 2011 vintage of The Sisters a strong mineral driven component which provides structure from front to back." Thomas Rivers Brown, Winemaker, March 2014
